Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born February 20, 2003. She is an American actor, singer, and producer. Her leading roles in the Disney films High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark earned her acclaim in late 2010. Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License" was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke records in a variety of genres and was among the most popular songs of 2021. It helped propel her to fame in the mainstream. The song was followed by the singles "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her first studio album as a solo artist, Sour (2021), that was both a critical and commercial success and won three Grammy Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, a Disney+ documentary that focuses on her creative process for Sour came out in 2022. Apart from other accolades she has also won an American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time declared her one of the 2021 Entertainers Of The Year, while Billboard named her Woman Of The Year in 2022.
Rodrigo has received many awards for her achievements in the field of music including three Grammy Awards. [111] Billboard honored Rodrigo with the Women of the Award at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. In addition, she was awarded "Songwriter of the year" by Variety in 2021[113] and in 2022 at the ASCAP Awards. [114]
