Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Her most famous role is anchorperson for the CNN's At This Hour morning show. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in the award-winning coverage by CNN of presidential elections 2012 and 2016. She has been in Washington DC, she has covered both the US House as well as the Senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle which included events like discussion of raising the federal credit limit or deliberations by the super committee. Bolduan has worked as an assignment reporter for general assignments, covering such reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. Also, she covered the introduction of stimulus plans in 2009. She was appointed a CNN Newsource national reporter in 2007.
