Niykee, who has had many a hectic few years which included getting picked by Snoop to perform with Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee keeps a steady songwriting schedule even though she has been a bit busy. Her popularity is constant to producers just getting started. A lot of beats she receives spark song ideas. After just five minutes that I know whether a beat is worthwhile. After that I can get an idea of a whole song in my brain and I start writing. My guitar sits on the porch, and I let the lyrics flow. Most of the time, it's done in less than 30 minutes. Niykee says that as she grows as a lyricist and musician, her memories of her childhood serve as an inspiratoin. My experience of pain as a child in my youth as well as that of losing my sibling is evident in my lyrics, even though they're not literal. The memories influence my songs and creates a deeper understanding behind all things that's one the most important things for me. I want to be able to say that I'll be able to hear any of my songs 20 years from now and still be happy with what I said.
