April Bowlby, an American model and actress. Her most well-known role is portraying Kandi as well as Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actor who is best known for playing Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Kandi the popular TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career began in the early 1990s and later moved into films and TV. Her first appearance was on the small screen as an actor in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It came with appearances on single episodes in other shows. Soon after, she was able to land the breakthrough character of Kandi in Two and a Half Men. The role she played as Stacy Barrett in the popular series Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention throughout the world. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl from the American series on the web called Titans. In a spin-off show from Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby is also a part of TV films like Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter. Following her appearance as a character in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film) along with From Prada, to Nada she debuted on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby played a part as a guest on a number of TV shows, including CSI: NY with Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. She also appeared as Meg as part of How I Met Your Mother. More recently Bowlby took on the role as Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a 2007 movie about a 12 year old girl who loses her mother in a car crash. Bowlby stars as Mia on The Slammin Salmon, a comedy film to be released in the year 2008. Los Angeles is her home. Her natural hair is red and has blue eyes. She has never married and she has no children.
